The Launchrs project began in late 2024 with an attempt to build an MVP using React & Next.js… after weeks of frustrating toiling, that attempt was scrapped and Laravel was again put to the test to build this multi-featured platform.
It took longer than expected (since I scope-creeped the project every other day or so) but the system has some great features to check out:
- Workspace management – a custom “container” for related launches
- Team management – a custom addition to the authentication system. Workspace owners can invite and manage team members to work on any launch inside the workspace.
- Launch Activities – meticulously curated list of suggested launch activities (easily converted to assignable tasks)
- Outreach CRM – a contact manager with data enrichment capabilities.
- Kanban Task Manager – after creating tasks, a custom Kanban manages states and visualizes assignments. Full task filtering helps organize even better.
- Asset Manager – fully functional asset manager for videos, graphics, text, or any other files related to the launch.
- Tools & Resources – painstakingly curated directory of helpful links and useful tools to help promote a successful new launch.
- Communities & Directories – ~400 various directories, blogs, communities and more to post your launch to and get traction
- Affiliate Program – custom built affiliate system offering 40% commission
- Contacts’ Data Enrichment – as mentioned in the CRM bullet, there are two different data enrichment options that are tied to a custom token system. These work off of a single datapoint: a contacts’ LinkedIn profile URL. You can use 1 token to fill in the rest of the contact’s data or 2 tokens to get a list of likely e-mail addresses.
